Introduction
Department of Preventive Oncology Research was established in 2013. It is a department focussing on integrated aspects of cancer genomics and precision oncology. The department focus is Oncology based molecular research, molecular diagnostics and molecular prevention based activities.

Mission of the Dept of Preventive Oncology Research is to achieve highest standards in the practice of Oncological Sciences and to strive for promoting patient health and safety.

Vision of the Dept of Preventive Oncology Research is
- To create a climate of patient focussed practice of molecular sciences. The Dept will inform, educate, consult, manage and provide services as an integral part of accessible quality based health system.
