All new patients for doctor consultation or for opinion only are first registered.
Doctor appointment for OP consultation can be fixed over phone (044-22209150 Ext 211/113/164/169/152) between 7 AM and 5 PM
New Patients seeking doctor’s appointment and Patients seeking Doctor’s Opinion are registered first.
OP new patient registration timing – 7 AM to 11 AM from Monday to Saturday at the Cancer Institute (WIA) Dr.S.Krishnamurthi campus situated at No:38, Sardar Patel Road, adjacent to IIT campus, Chennai 600036.
Only emergency cases are registered on Sunday
OP services are available in Diamond Jubilee Block and Diagnostic block, each offering surgical, medical, radiation, breast and gynecological oncology consultations.
Other OP services for registered patients include anesthesia, palliative care, gastroenterology, psycho-oncology, neurology, plastic surgery, diabetology, cardiology, nephrology, dental and speech therapy.
Annually, the institute registers about 15,000 new patients and 150,000 follow-up/review visits of patients for OP consultation.
Please get prior appointment for future review/follow up consultation after present consultation or by phone as stated above to help us to serve you better.
OP services for apparently healthy people for cancer screening are offered in Dr. V. Shanta campus, East Canal Bank Road, Gandhi Nagar, Adyar, Chennai 600020 on Tuesday and Thursday between 8.30 AM and 1.00 PM
