Palliative Care an important dimension of cancer care aims to help reduce and manage problems faced by patients and their families through treatment of pain and other physical, psychological and spiritual ailments.
The very nature of cancer affects quality of life, in terms of pain and debilitation, affecting the lives of the patient and their family as never before. Palliative Care for Cancer patients aims to help reduce and manage problems faced by patients and their families through treatment of pain and other physical, psychological and spiritual ailments.Our aim is to help individuals manage their conditions more effectively and improve quality of life.
Our team provides personalized medical care to meet individual patient’s and family’s needs by understanding their healthcare concerns, lifestyle, values and preferences. Through this in depth understanding of the person, we help match treatment options to patients goals and values.We provide Complex symptom control, can offer suggestions of ways to improve quality of life.

Our Out Patient and In Patient services have a therapeutic environment, enabling patient to have an increased sense of confidence and empowerment in living with their illness.
We have an Integrated Palliative Care service, which means we work alongside with Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists to manage patients at different stages of their illness – When newly diagnosed, in treatment and living with symptoms of their illness.

Home Care Services
We have developed home care services to enable patients to have realistic choice of where they are cared for. This helps a patient to stay at home for as long as possible, and to reduce admissions.
We are a team of Specialist Doctors like Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists and Palliative Care Physicians who work alongside with other health care professionals like Nurses, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Social workers who are involved in your care to provide high quality service to assist patients in managing physical symptoms and supporting psychological and emotional needs that may occur as a result of illness.
We offer
- Home care for patients who require symptom relief thereby preventing unnecessary admission to Hospital

Hospice Care
Mahaveer Ashray was started on 22nd June 2017 to provide holistic patient and family centered care for Cancer patients.We believe our patients are entitled to live life to the fullest throughout their illness and are treated with dignity, empathy and respect.
We take inspiration from the words of Dame Cicely Saunders who said “You matter because you are you and you matter until the last moment of your life.” So we adapt our treatment and advice to suit your particular needs and we won’t stop until we can give you the best possible support.
Our hospice is a friendly, vibrant place and we have a team of experienced Palliative Care Specialist Doctors, Nurses, Psychologist, Physiotherapist to give a holistic care to the patient.

End Of Life Care
Our End of Life Care program was developed with a aim to give our patients a sensitive, caring, dignified and humane end to their life.
We try to provide our patients dignity at the end of life.
We help families to understand the patient condition so as to avoid any unnecessary interventions to the patients in their last days.
We also prepare families and friends for their loved one’s death.
Bereavement Support
Our care does not end once your loved ones finish their journey of life. Our Bereavement services are here to offer support to the family and friends even after the patient passes away.
We offer Bereavement counseling and offer our time if someone is feeling particularly low and unhappy.
Our Social Workers team gives their full effort to help and support the family by empowering family members and also getting financial and social support for economically oppressed people.
