Dr. G. Selvaluxmy Ganesharajah is one of the most renowned Radiation Oncologist from the Cancer Institute (WIA), Chennai. She graduated (MBBS) from Stanley Medical College in the year 1985. She further completed her DMRT & MD (Radiation Therapy) from Dr. MGR .Medical University in the year 1992 and 1995 respectively as the first candidate from the institute. She rose to the position of the Director from an Assistant Professor in the span of 23 years of service in the Cancer Institute (WIA). She was bequeathed with ‘The Best Doctor Award’ in the year 2012 by the Tamil Nadu MGR Medical University.
