I purchased this amazing quilt top at an estate sale this spring. It was made by one or both of a pair of crafty sisters who lived and crafted together for many years in the farmhouse they grew up in. The quilt top is 81 x 75" and is hand sewn from cotton scraps that they gathered over the years of quilting and sewing. It was never used, but put away with a lot of other unused things like embroidery and tatting. It is from a non smoking home and is beautiful, even with the stains. I have not laundered to try to remove the stains and don't know what they are.
